Parliament passes bill establishing National Roads Authority

Parliament has passed a bill establishing the National Roads Authority, 2024.

The primary objective of the bill is to establish the National Road Authority as an autonomous s body responsible for planning, developing, maintaining and managing the country’s national road network.

The passage of the bill came after the Minister of Roads and Highways, Francis Asenso-Boakye, had moved a motion in the House, and the bill was read for the third time.
