Admission Of Candidates To The Bachelor Of Laws (LLB) Degree Programme For The 2024/2025 Academic Year
The University for Development Studies hereby announces for the information of the general public and prospective applicants that the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) has granted the University accreditation to run BACHELOR OF LAWS (LLB) Programme. The programme is demanding and prepares students for admission into the professional training course at the Ghana School of Law.

The University for Development Studies therefore invites applications for admission to its BACHELOR OF LAWS (LLB) Degree programme for the 2024/2025 Academic Year.

The Sale of e-vouchers at designated banks and the online application process for the Bachelor of Laws programme at UDS will commence on December 9, 2024. Prospective applicants are advised to visit www.admissions.uds.edu.gh to access the application forms

THREE (3)-YEAR POST FIRST-DEGREE LLB PROGRAMME

This is an evening programme (4:00 pm to 8:00 pm daily) which is designed for students with a first degree in any discipline but who wish to enroll on the LLB programme with the possibility of becoming lawyers in the future.
Applicants are to note that the 3-Year Post First Degree LLB Programme is an undergraduate programme.

Eligibility:
Interested applicants must have been awarded a first degree in any relevant discipline from a recognized tertiary institution and must have obtained a minimum of a Second-Class Lower.

Additional Requirements
Applicants must have WASSCE/SSSCE/GBCE credit passes of at least grade C6 or D respectively in three (3) core subjects and three (3) elective subjects or credit passes in five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics and any Science subject at the GCE ‘O’ Level in addition to three ‘A’ Level passes plus a pass in General Paper.

Entrance Examination and Selection Interview
Short-listed applicants will be required to take an Entrance Examination which will attract a non-refundable examination fee. Applicants who are successful in the Entrance Examination will go through a Selection Interview. The Entrance Examination and Selection Interview will be announced to applicants who meet the application criteria.

MODE OF APPLICATION FOR DOMESTIC (GHANAIAN) APPLICANTS

All Ghanaian applicants are required to use the UDS online application portal. The procedure for the online application process is as follows:
Make a payment of GH¢ 200.00 (Two Hundred Ghana Cedis) for the UDS Undergraduate E-Voucher at any Stanbic Bank, GCB Bank, Agricultural Development Bank (ADB), National Investment Bank (NIB), Prudential Bank, Zenith Bank, Ecobank and Access Bank branches throughout the country.
The E-Voucher contains the PIN, and Serial Number required for the completion of the online form.

Access the online form by visiting our online admissions portal at www.admissions.uds.edu.gh soon after payment.
In completing the online form, applicants will be required to upload their most recent passport size photographs with white background and relevant certificates. Applicants who use objects instead of their own photographs would be disqualified.
A completed form will not be considered for admission unless it is SUBMITTED after accepting our Data Confirmation Policy.
Applicants are advised to check thoroughly all details entered before finally submitting their online applications.

Closing date for submission of online applications is December 31, 2024.

All non-Ghanaian applicants are advised to apply as follows:

Access the online form for free by emailing international@uds.edu.gh for an E-voucher. Visit our online admissions portal at www.admissions.uds.edu.gh soon after receiving the E-voucher.
The E-Voucher contains the Pin, and Serial Number required in completing the online form.
In completing the online form, applicants will be required to upload their most recent passport size photographs with white background and relevant certificates. Applicants who use objects instead of their own photographs would be disqualified.
A completed form is not considered until it is SUBMITTED
Applicants are advised to check thoroughly all details entered before they finally submit their online applications.
